Why Ultion High Security?

Hidden attack lock

When the lock's attacked, it detects this and a hidden firing pin secures the lock's core. This stops the intruder from being able to turn the cam (the part which actually unlocks the door).

Double the sacrificial protection

89% of locks are broken by snapping. Ultion® is designed to snap safely and in a controlled way. If the front of the lock is snapped, the sacrificial protection helps keep the cam from being accessed.

Molybdenum core

The central section of the the cylinder is made from molybdenum, which is 25% denser than iron and is used in the production of military aircraft. It can withstand pressures of up to 300,000 pounds per square inch and is there to house the attack lock.

This is around double the average number in a standard lock. These pins give the Ultion® high security snap-safe locks 294,970 unique key combinations.

20-point drill protection

13% of locks are broken into by drilling. Each pin and plate is made from hardened steel, precisely positioned to protect against attempts at drilling your Ultion® lock.

Self-cleaning keyway

Every time you use an Ultion® key, the contoured keyway clears any dust before it enters your lock. This helps prevent future mechanical faults like jamming.
