Here at Mersey Locksmiths, we see ourselves as the uPVC and composite door masters. We are expert locksmiths; a status backed up in our qualifications. We'd like to give you an insight into what these are.
CORGI Fenestration Skilled Locksmiths
This qualification was developed in response to market pressures to recognise the excellence of locksmiths and promote the use of skilled locksmiths. The course is available to companies that carry out the installation, gain entry, repair or replacement of locks in association with fenestration products.
To qualify, companies must:

Hold a current DBS disclosure certificate

Be, or employ, skilled locksmiths

Hold the relevant business insurance

Demonstrate professionalism and competence
When you complete this course, all technicians receive a CORGI Fenestration Skilled Locksmith photo ID card which confirms their qualification. All our technicians carry these cards - if you'd like to verify our status, please just ask us and we'll be happy to let you see the cards and/or supporting documents.
City & Guilds Accredited Programme 9950-08
We're also accredited by City & Guilds. Founded in 1878, The City & Guilds has protected and promoted the standard of technical education.
They work with government, businesses and education centres to offer a diverse range of roles to support the future of work and learning around the world. Their purpose is to help people, organisations and economies develop their skills for growth.
This has all been recognised in Mersey Locksmiths. We're happy to provide copies of accreditation and/or certificates - just let our technicians know before they come to your property so they make sure they carry the right paperwork.
